Sri Rama Navami

April 6 @ 2:30 pm - 5:00 pm

Ram Navami is celebrated on the appearance day of Lord Ramachandra, an important incarnation of Lord Shree Krishna. It is observed to commemorate the birth of Lord Rama, who appeared in the Raghu dynasty thousands of years ago to uphold righteousness and defeat the demon king Ravana. The celebration of Ram Navami serves as a reminder of Lord Rama’s divine qualities, his exemplary life, and his teachings on dharma and devotion. It is a time for devotees to offer prayers, perform special rituals, read scriptures, and engage in devotional activities to seek the blessings of Lord Rama.

On the auspicious day of Rama Navami, it is recommended to perform activities such as fasting, reading or listening to the pastimes of Lord Rama from scriptures like the Ramayana, offering prayers and worship to Lord Rama, visiting temples dedicated to Lord Rama, and engaging in devotional activities to seek the blessings of Lord Rama. This day is significant for commemorating the appearance of Lord Ramachandra and celebrating His divine pastimes.
