SUMMARY:Kamada Ekadasi
DESCRIPTION:Kamada Ekadshi is a day of fasting\, as well as a day of spiritual and religious significance. For Vaishnavas\, it is an opportunity to reflect upon the underlying principles of their Bhakti/ Devotional service. \nVaishnavas celebrate this day with much reverence as it’s believed that on this day Lord Vishnu transformed Himself into a Viraat Avatar\, offering divine grace and protection to his devotees. The month in which Kamada Ekadasi is observed is referred to as Aadi Masam\, or “mother of all months” in the Vaishnav culture. It is well-known as the month of beginning of all fruitful tasks and observances. \nAny Charity ( Daan)\, Tapa ( penance)\, or Yoga( Austerity) done of the day of Ekadasi is considered to bestow eternal fruits. \nThis is one of the most important Ekadasis of the Hindu Lunar Calendar. A fast observed on this day is also said to be equivalent to four other Ekadasi fasts.

It is a time for devotees to offer prayers\, perform special rituals\, read scriptures\, and engage in devotional activities to seek the blessings of Lord Rama. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOn the auspicious day of Rama Navami\, it is recommended to perform activities such as fasting\, reading or listening to the pastimes of Lord Rama from scriptures like the Ramayana\, offering prayers and worship to Lord Rama\, visiting temples dedicated to Lord Rama\, and engaging in devotional activities to seek the blessings of Lord Rama. This day is significant for commemorating the appearance of Lord Ramachandra and celebrating His divine pastimes.
